How this conversion works

Each selected page is rendered locally at your chosen resolution and encoded as JPG. Rotation and duplicated-page order are applied to the generated images. Nothing is uploaded.

Choose JPG settings deliberately

JPG is a practical choice for photo-heavy scans because it usually downloads smaller than PNG. It uses lossy encoding, so fine text and line art may show artifacts at lower quality settings. DPI controls the image dimensions, while the quality slider controls JPG compression. Start with 150 DPI for screen sharing, use 300 DPI for print, and reserve 600 DPI for a small number of pages with fine detail. For lossless image encoding of text and graphics, use PDF to PNG.

Know what the output contains

Every selected entry becomes a separate image, including duplicated entries. Conversion does not create one tall image or preserve selectable text, links, forms, or other PDF behavior. JPG also has no transparency, so transparent areas are placed on white. If the images later need to become a document again, use JPG to PDF.
