Selective cleanup
Removes only the selected structures and rewrites the PDF without orphaned objects. Searchable text, vectors, images, and unselected features remain when possible.
Privacy cleanup before sharing
Inspect information that is not obvious on the page, choose what to remove, and create a clean sharing copy locally in your browser.
Remove hidden information
Save a new copy: cleanup rewrites the PDF and invalidates existing digital signatures. Keep the original when signature verification or future editing matters.

Quick start
Choose a PDF
Select one PDF from your device. Enter its opening password if the file is protected.
Review the privacy scan
Check the detected metadata, attachments, bookmarks, comments, forms, scripts, layers, thumbnails, labels, and accessibility structure.
Select what to remove
Use selective cleanup to preserve searchable visible content, or choose a visible-page rebuild for stronger hidden-content removal.
Create and review a new copy
Remove the selected information, download the cleaned PDF, and inspect important pages before sharing it.
A PDF can contain information beyond the visible page. The scan inventories supported document properties and interactive structures before anything is removed. A zero means the browser did not detect that category through the supported PDF interfaces. It is not a security certification.

For hidden page content
Renders each page without annotations and creates a new image-only PDF. This discards underlying page objects, optional layers, links, forms, bookmarks, tags, and attachments.
This tool does not search for Social Security numbers, bank details, medical information, legal text, or other visible confidential content. It also does not make a white box into secure redaction. If sensitive information can be seen on the page, use Redact PDF first, apply the redactions, and then remove hidden information from the redacted copy.
A PDF may contain metadata, comments, attachments, bookmarks, form values, scripts, automatic actions, optional layers, embedded thumbnails, page labels, accessibility tags, and private data created by other applications. Some PDFs can also retain transparent, covered, cropped, or overlapping page content.
Yes. Selective cleanup rewrites supported PDF structures while keeping visible text, vectors, and images searchable and selectable when possible.
Use it when hidden text, layers, cropped-away content, or overlapping underlying objects are a concern. It creates a new image-based PDF from the pages shown by the browser, so search, selection, forms, links, bookmarks, and accessibility tags are not retained.
No. This tool removes selected nonvisible document data. It does not locate or permanently remove sensitive text and images that are visibly printed on a page. Use Redact PDF first for visible confidential content.
No. Removing information changes the PDF bytes and invalidates existing digital signatures. Keep the signed original if validation matters, and sign the cleaned copy afterward when required.
Yes, if you know the opening password. Unlocking and processing take place locally in your browser. The cleaned download is not password protected unless you protect it again.
No browser tool can guarantee detection of every malformed, proprietary, steganographic, or newly developed technique. Review the result and use your organization's approved security process for regulated or untrusted documents.
