How this works

Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser, no files are ever sent to a server. Your signature is created and placed locally, and the signed PDF is built locally too. You can confirm this yourself by opening your browser's developer tools and watching the network tab while you sign a document.

When a visual signature is the right fit

Use this tool when the recipient needs a visible mark on an ordinary form, approval sheet, or agreement and does not require certificate-based identity verification. Complete any interactive fields with the PDF form filler first, then add the signature and date to the finished copy. For a cleaner result, use a transparent PNG or draw at a comfortable size, place the mark inside the document's signature box, and reopen the download to check its position. Applying it to every page repeats the same mark, size, and relative position, which is useful for initials but not for documents with different signing areas on each page.

What kind of signature does this create?

This tool places a drawn, typed, or uploaded signature image on the PDF. It does not verify identity, fill a certificate signature field, or create a tamper-evident audit trail. Ask the recipient what type of signature the document requires. Use a dedicated signing service when identity verification or a certificate-based signature is required.

What's the difference between Draw, Type, and Upload?

Draw lets you sign with your mouse, trackpad, or finger, closest to a real handwritten signature. Type renders your name in a signature-style font, quick and consistent. Upload lets you use a photo or scan of your actual signature, ideally a PNG with a transparent background.

Can I sign on my phone?

Yes. Drawing works with touch the same way it works with a mouse, and the page adjusts to smaller screens.

Can I add my signature to every page, not just one?

Yes. Choose Every page under Pages, useful for initialing every page of a longer contract in one pass, using the same position and size throughout.

Does this store my signature anywhere?

No. Your signature, drawn, typed, or uploaded, exists only in your browser's memory for this session. Nothing is saved, uploaded, or sent anywhere. Closing or refreshing the tab clears it completely.

Can I include the date automatically?

Yes. Turn on Add a signing date, edit the text or size if needed, and drag the date independently to the exact position you want.
